PHOTO CONTROLS

| From
dusk until dawn, the lights are on. This Paragon Series of 16
models offers solutions for outdoor lighting poles, billboards and
security lighting applications. Each model incorporates photo
controls that are operated by a cadmium cell reacting to light
stimulation. When sunlight or artificial light triggers the
cadmium cell, contact is broken and the light is automatically
shut off.
For
unique applications where lighting requires heightened control,
Paragon offers the CW and PN Series. The CW Series is
conduit-wired with a slider that can be adjusted to change cell
sensitivity. The PN Series has a swivel tube that can be
redirected to eliminate the immediate effects of sunlight. The TL
Series, or twist-lock, is most commonly used in street lighting;
the LB Series of photocells is most commonly housed in single-gang
switch plates to control interior lighting.

HOW
TO SPECIFY
How to Specify
Installer shall furnish and install Paragon (Model No.)
Photo Control with rating of (300, 1000, 1200, 2000, 3000)
watts, (2.5, 7.0, 8.3, 10, 16.5, 25) amperes tungsten at 120
volts, 50 to 60 Hz ac. Light shall be (0.5, 1.5, 3) foot
candles for turn off. Suitable for temperature range from
-30°F to +140°F and weatherproof enclosed. Load to remain
on in case of cell failure. Shall have minimum time delay of
15 seconds.
